KA2 eSGarden for Future Citizens: Field trip around Slovenia

Buenas noches a todos

Hoy, el martes 22 de octubre de 2019, nos hemos levantado ansiosos porque nuestros compañeros eslovenos del 2018-1-ES01-KA201-050599 nos han preparado una excursión alrededor de Eslovenia.

Muy temprano, hemos cogido el bus y nos hemos dirigido hacia el colegio. Allí, nos reunimos con nuestros compañeros eslovenos y juntos comenzamos el viaje.

Tras una hora de viaje, llegamos a nuestra primera parada, Konstajevica, un monasterio franciscano levantado en el año 1623 y bombardeado en la Primera Guerra Mundial, allí atendimos a una clase magistral sobre el monasterio y más tarde, visitamos su biblioteca centenaria, que albergaba libros impresos por el propio Gutenberg y las catacumbas de varios nobles borbónicos, como Carlos X.
Volvimos al bus y continuamos nuestro viaje. Llegamos a una aldea llamada Stanjel en la que se hallaban unos jardines magníficos, realizados por Ferrari, llenos de plantas, de animales y vida.

Finalmente llegamos a una zona de picnic donde comimos y pasamos un buen rato con nuestros compañeros. Al acabar de comer, nos adentramos en la cueva Skocjan, una inmensa y extraordinaria cueva, llena de estalactitas y estalacmitas,  además, nuestro profesor Jorge, aprovechó para explicarnos como se formaban las mismas y los secretos del modelado endokárstico. Después de una caminata de 2 horas por las entrañas de la Tierra, salimos por una obertura gigantesca con un paraje natural digno de película.

Destrozados y sin aliento, subimos por un ascensor para finalmente llegar a la superficie, y posteriormente volver al colegio, desde donde nos dirigimos al centro de Liubliana para cenar en un restaurante y dormir en el hotel.

Today, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, we got up anxious because our Slovenian companions of 2018-1-ES01-KA201-050599 have prepared an excursion around Slovenia.

Very early, we took the bus and headed towards the school.  There, we met with our Slovenian colleagues and together we started the journey.
After an hour’s journey, we arrived at our first stop, Konstajevica, a Franciscan monastery built in 1623 and bombed in the First World War, we attended a master class on the monastery and later, we visited a  centenary library,   books were  printed by Gutenberg , the catacombs of several Bourbon nobles, such as Carlos X.

We returned to the bus and continued our trip.  We arrived at a village called Stanjel , there were magnificent gardens, full of plants, animals and life.
Finally we arrived at a picnic area , we ate and had a good time with our partners.  After eating, we visited the cave Skocjan, an immense and extraordinary cave, full of stalactites and stalacmites, in addition, our teacher Jorge, took the opportunity to explain how they were formed and the secrets of endocardial modeling.  After a 2-hour walk through the bowels of the Earth, we went out through a gigantic overture with a natural landscape. 

Shattered and out of breath, we climbed an elevator to finally reach the surface, and then return to school, Then we went to the center of Ljubljana anda have dinner in  a restaurant and Went  to sleep at the hotel.
